Mommy's New Outfit

11:00 AM

Christmas is right around the corner and I have been shopping, donating, and volunteering for others. I thought it was time for this mommy to pamper herself a little. Actually, my husband pushed me into it because I am not one to buy for herself.

My husband’s persuading consisted of reminding me that I have worked very hard this past year to become more fit and healthier. After losing 62 pounds my clothing is baggy, baby stained, stretched and unflattering. It is time for a new winter outfit. After looking at my extra income from blogging, I decided I would spend $20. However, my husband tried pressing me to spend a lot more. An agreement formed with me firmly stating no more than $50.

I instantly went to Groupon Coupons to check out the clothing Stores. I was able to find some great deals on dressbarn, Overstock.com and Ashley Stewart. I was able to coordinate this awesome outfit that is mommy friendly, quick to put on and funky fun. The best part is it cost me less than 50 bux! Awesome score RIGHT!

Because I love you my blog reader… here are the details.

I must confess that I LOVE dressbarn! I bought my wedding dress and attire for the ladies of our wedding party from dressbarn. I know how their clothing fit me so I do not have to try on everything before buying it. Hence, I purchased a pair of skinny jeans and a shimmery cowl-neck sweater in heather grey to begin my outfit.  I came across the beaded chandelier earrings and rhinestone bangle set and could not resist getting them too.

I went to Groupon Coupons to see what great savings I could acquire. I was able to take 15% off my purchase and was able to take another 20% off an item for signing up to receive their promotional emails. In addition, I got free delivery because I had the order shipped to a local store to pick up later.

Now that I had the base of my much-deserved new outfit, I needed boots. On Overstock.com I found an adorable faux fur reindeer bag which I absolutely adore! I also purchased mock felt brown mid-calf high boots. I love the simplicity of the cute boots they are going to be great when I am running after my toddler.

With the Groupon Coupons, I was able to save up to 70%, and snagged free shipping! In addition, I received a special 10% off for signing up to receive Overstocks promotional emails. I love these promotional email savings!

Finally, I was not sure what was missing but I just needed something else for this outfit. I went onto the Ashley Stewart website; I had never been on this site before. Therefore, after searching the site I found a pair of grey braid and twist leg warmers. I think these will be so cute peeking over the top of my boots.

I was impressed with the fact that right now, there is a 50% off automatically on almost the entire website and I added an extra 35% off the entire purchase with Groupon Coupons.
After making, my selections and finalizing my purchases my grand total tallied to $49.87.

W-O-W!

Now I am excitedly waiting for the packages to arrive to my doorstep.

What new things have you bought for yourself? Am I the only mom who hates buying things for themselves? I am interested to know. Share below in the comments.
